KS4 Meadowbrook students have the opportunity to achieve a qualification in Art & Design.  The Art & Design GCSE course is an expressive and experimental course where students try many different ways of working with media and thinking about Art. Students who are with us for the year/two years have the opportunity to study the following courses:

AQA GCSE Art & Design                                     

AQA GCSE Art & Design: Photography            

The Course consists of two units: Unit 1 consists of a personal project and final piece response.  Unit 2 is externally set briefs provided by the exam board. Students produce impressive results and students have used their Art GCSE portfolios to secure places on Art courses at College.

Students regularly visit galleries and museums, and exhibit at the end of the year.
